Missional Communities

And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
- Acts 2:42, 46-47

Missional Communities (MCs) are groups of believers commited to follow Christ together as His family and body. This means sharing life together and partnering to serve and care for one another and the lost. This is the true meaning of the word 'fellowship' in the New Testament. God designed the church to be a place where every believer uses their gifts to build up the whole, as every member of the body has been specially gifted by God for the corporate good. Not only that, but God designed us to growby exercising faith in real life along with other believers who can encourage us, and sharpen us to be more like Christ. We need other people close enough to us to speak the truth in love to us and apply the life giving truth of the gospel in our everyday lives. Together we are Christ's hands and feet, able to serve and sacrifice to show the world God's amazing love. We do this by proclaiming and demonstrating the good news with the compassion and love of Christ.
